The YIVO Institute and Bard College are pleased to announce the third year of the Winter Program on Ashkenazi Civilization. This program, the first of its kind in the U.S., presents an integrated curriculum in the culture, history, language, and literature of East European Jews. Courses are open to all. The program will consist of eight intensive short courses, taught by leading scholars. Students may enroll in up to four courses. Students have the option of receiving one credit per course from Bard College.

Courses are $300, with the exception of Jonathan Brent's course, The Other Sholem Aleichem, which is $150.

YIVO members pay $225 for the first class and $175 for each additional class. Members pay $100 for The Other Sholem Aleichem if that is their only class, and $75 if taking it with another class. YIVO membership is $54.
