The Frankel Center for Judaic Studies invites applications for a full-time (100% effort) Lecturer I position. The appointment is for up to three years (with the possibility of renewal), beginning September 1, 2012 and ending in April of the identified year. The Lecturer will be expected to teach six courses per academic year with the focus on teaching Yiddish language courses in Judaic Studies to undergraduate and graduate students. Up to two courses may be on some aspect of Yiddish culture in English translation. This appointment is benefits eligible. Application Deadline: March 30, 2012.
