The Elie Wiesel Center for Judaic Studies and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences are pleased to invite applications for PhD fellowships in Jewish Studies. Eligibility is limited to students admitted to one of the PhD-level programs of study offered through the Division of Religious and Theological Studies. Within the DRTS students may specialize in  Text and tradition (Track 1), Religious thought and philosophy (Track 2), Religion and Society (Track 3), or Religion and science (Track 4). Jewish Studies PhD fellowships cover tuition and continuation fees for five years, include the cost of student health insurance, and provide a competitive living stipend. Some financial aid (including travel and research grants) may also be available for exceptionally gifted MA-level students admitted to the DRTS as well as graduate students in other GSAS programs with a clear focus in Jewish studies.
