Center for Jewish History Doctoral, Postdoctoral, and Senior Scholar Fellowships, 2014-2015

The Center for Jewish History (CJH) offers a range of fellowships for senior scholars, early career (postdoctoral) scholars, and doctoral candidates to conduct original research in the humanities, including but not limited to the fields of Jewish studies, Russian and East European studies, American studies and Germanic studies, as well as musicology, linguistics, philosophy, anthropology, sociology and history. In residence at the Center for a period of 10 to 12 months, Fellows have the opportunity to explore the collections of CJH partners – American Jewish Historical Society, American Sephardi Federation, Leo Baeck Institute, Yeshiva University Museum, YIVO Institute for Jewish Research.

Center fellowships with a February 3, 2014 deadline:

  • Graduate Research Fellowship for doctoral candidates

Applications for the Undergraduate Research Fellowship, Joseph S. Steinberg Emerging Jewish Filmmaker Fellowship, and Visiting Scholars Program are accepted on a rolling basis.
