The 14th international Yiddish summer program at Tel Aviv University will take place from June 30 to July 25, 2019. The Naomi Prawer Kadar International Yiddish Summer Program is unique in offering Yiddish instruction at five levels, and in offering cultural programs both on campus and in the vibrant city of Tel Aviv.
As students of TAU International, the Tel Aviv University Overseas School, whose credentials are recognized by universities worldwide, participants will receive 80 hours of language and literature instruction (four credits) with highly qualified and experienced teachers in small classes. Language instruction is supplemented by a rich program of afternoon lectures on Yiddish literature and culture, a research symposium for graduate students, conversation classes, concerts, cultural activities, and tours.
The costs of the program are:
· $ 1450 tuition
· $ 60 Application fee
· $ 800 for housing (double occupancy).
Scholarships are available for full time students.
